All products available for sale on this website are subject to these terms and conditions. By purchasing products on this website you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, and you are bound by the version available on the site at the date of purchase.
Age Limit
It is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 years to purchase alcoholic beverages and tobacco in the UK. The Drinkstop requires that customers agree to supply proof of age on request and we further undertake that we shall not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is or appears to be under the age of 21. The Drinkstop is fully licensed and by placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

Pass-Hologram cards
UK Photo-Driving Licence
UK Passports.
No other forms of ID including photocopies can be accepted.
Failing to provide the correct ID if requested on delivery and/or the driver feels uncomfortable will mean that goods will be returned to the store and payment will be refunded minus an administration fee of £5.00
Delivery
All on-line orders are delivered the same-day after 18:00 hours unless otherwise requested.
All on-line orders including Telephone orders made after 18:00 hours are delivered within 60 minutes or thereabouts.
Free Delivery & No Minimum order is applicable to Hitchin, Letchworth, Baldock, Stevenage and immediate surrounding areas only. For all other areas it is advised that you contact us prior to placing your order.
Last orders placed for delivery should be no later than 15 minutes of store closing time on that particular day.
Your Representations
You represent and warrant that you are over the age of 18 years old and have the legal right and ability to enter into this agreement and to use any debit and credit card used to purchase goods on this site. You also warrant that all information you have provided is accurate and true.
Prices
Prices on all our products and services are clear and easily found. The prices will always be shown in pounds sterling and include Value Added Tax (currently 17.5%) Any delivery charges are supplementary. Prices in-store maybe different to the prices shown on this website.
Cancellations
Under the Home Shopping : Distance Selling Regulations private purchasers have the right to cancel the order up to 7 days after receipt of items if the items have not been used. Cancellation of orders must be made by letter or email. A phone call cancellation is not enough. It is the customers duty to take full care of all items. Returning of items is the responsibility of the customer who is liable for the cost of returns. The customer must ensure all reasonable care is taken to ensure the safe return of items and in their original packaging where appropriate. Failure to return at the customers expense (except where the items are faulty or do not comply with the contract) The Drinkstop will recover the items and offset the amount against any refund due. If the items are faulty or do not comply with the contract The Drinkstop will be liable for return charges. Refunds for returned and cancelled orders will be made as soon as possible and within 30 days of return. The Home Shopping : Distance Selling Regulations does not apply to Business purchases.
Claims for Breakages
Upon receipt of your order, you should carefully inspect it to make sure that it is intact and in full. The delivery driver must be informed of breakages or shortages at the time of delivery. We will not accept any claims for breakages or shortages unless they are stated on the Drivers documentation.

Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information, but they do enable us to provide features such as storing items in 'Your basket' between browser sessions. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that.
Security
All financial transactions are carried out electronically This means all transactions that take place are encrypted between our system and the server. Nobody is able to obtain your credit card details nor other information.
Data Protection/Privacy Policy
The Drinkstop conforms to the UK Data Protection Act (1998). When you place an order, we need to obtain: your name, email address, billing address, contact phone number, credit card number and expiry date and/or issue number.
We do not store, sell, trade or rent your personal information. Any changes to our privacy will be amended on this page so you are always clear on what information we collect, how we collect it and to whom we disclose it. If you have any questions regarding our privacy policy, please dont hesitate to contact us.
Governing Law
Your use of this web site will be governed by English Law and will be deemed to have occurred in the United Kingdom.
Termination
The Drinkstop reserves the right to terminate immediately a customers ability to use any of our services if the conduct is found to be inconsistent with these conditions.
Statutory Rights
The statutory rights of our customers are not affected by the terms of our service.
